Hypnotherapy is a deep state of relaxation. You are not unconscious and would never do something you would not do while fully awake and present.  You will be guided into a deep state of relaxation. This state of relaxation allows your transformation to begin. Hypnosis will allow you to adopt positive and strength building thoughts, correct negative habits, and begin living your desired life.

Your first hypnotherapy session

The initial session is approximately 90 minutes and focuses on gaining an in-depth perspective of your specific challenges and therapeutic goals. Melinda will ask questions about your history in efforts to gain an understanding of your maladaptive behaviors, negative thoughts, relationship cycles and many other areas of your life.  This information helps Melinda determine the best fitting hypnosis, mindfulness, and therapeutic techniques for your desired outcome. 

To begin the hypnosis process, you will be guided into a deep state of relaxation.  This is a very calm, comforting and relaxing part of the session. Once you are in a state of relaxation, treatment will begin.
